Mines got 104,000 on the stock Trans, been running the 150 tune for months now, and beat on it on a 60 and 120 tune for awhile. Not saying you can drive around like an idiot on max effort and not hurt it, it shifting into 5th and 6th gear pulls, but if you drive with some sense it will last a while. They're guys running the Maxx effort tune daily(I run the 150) and guys over 550 600 on the stock Trans still. Your Trans will be fine on a 120 or even bigger tune. They're awesome, not much smoke, and really smooth. Also is there a chance that the 81hp tune from superchips (emissions present) and the 60hp Kory Willis tune (deleted) would be closer than I think or maybe the 60 would even be faster? Also how do you guys think the stock trans would hold on the 120 tune with mostly easy driving with a few “very spirited” driving moments every few days or so? I would never want to run the 200 and really don’t want to run the 120 as my daily driver tune but I fear that I would be unhappy with the 60HP tune day to day as far as power and fuel economy is concerned. I am planning to get 5 tunes even though I can’t use the DSP5 setup as I have done in my old LB7 and LLY, I am leaning towards Kory Willis but I was told that the only tunes currently offered are stock/60/120/150/200. I bought a Superchips Flashpaq until I get the funds to do the delete/tune and have been running the performance tune (81 HP gain according to superchips) I am pretty happy with the power for daily driving. I am not looking to add a lift pump or build the trans. Hey guys I am looking at getting my truck tuned (LML) in the near future.
