Games are very customizable in the custom games room and it offers Reg, Mirrors, Whiz and a strange version of Suicide spades. The graphics are decent but the layout is a bit odd with last trick being required to be clicked each time and the 4 cards being displayed in a straight line so it's hard to know who played what. Unfortunately bid timer and play timer are same speed. There is a timer but it's adjustable in custom games. There is no chat at table other than pre-defined short comments and often this feature is turned off. Its players are mostly mobile but also available on PC. I prefer it over the Zynga Spades Plus game.

It was built by former zone programmers, looks kinda like the old zone back in days where there were lobbies and choice of partners. I think based on what you're looking for, league play at SafeHarbor Games will be your best bet. I've played every site I think that offers play on computer and has any type of player base.
